Ukrainian Tesla Employees Will Get 3 Months’ Pay if They Back to Fight

An Email from Axel Tangen, Tesla’s director of Northern Europe, to the Ukrainian employees who have to return to defend their country. It said that each one will receive pay for at least three months. This email directed to Tesla employees in Europe, the Middle East, and the Africa region.

However, Tesla plans to reassess the Russia-Ukraine war, after three months, to decide what more The company will need to do for its employees.

In February, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, called up reservists to fight back the invasion.

The email, which was sent on the 12th day after Russia invaded Ukraine, was also praised on
Tesla employees for helping SpaceX to bring its Starlink satellite internet service to Ukraine.

5,000 Tesla owners in Ukraine, even other EV drivers, could obtain free vehicle charging at some of Tesla’s Supercharger stations. They are in Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia, as the email said.

Moreover, due to the country’s invasion of Ukraine, automakers like Ford and General Motors in the U.S.  suspend their business in Russia. And to support and monitor the health and safety of its 71 Ukraine-based employees, Stellantis announced that it had established a support team that would operate 24 hours a day for help.
