Tom Cruise, was spotted filming in Duxford, UK hanging upside down 2000 feet in the air. The 59-year-old actor prefers to perform his own nail-biting stunt while filming, no matter how dangerous it is.

“I am a very physical actor, and I love doing them,” Cruise said “I study and train and take a lot of time figuring it all out. I have broken a lot of bones.” He added  “I have been told a few times during shooting a stunt to stop smiling.”

Cruise climbed the 80 years old Boeing B75N1Stearman biplane and prepped for doing a daredevil stunt. At 2,000 feet from the ground, Cruise dangled himself upside down from the wing. Then, in an unexpected move, the aircraft loop-the-loop so he was sitting upright on the wing as nothing has happened.

And of course, he is not a superhero or has supernatural powers. So for his safety, Cruise was attached to the aircraft with a harness during the mission.

Just for a single stunt in the “Mission: Impossible 7”, Cruise reportedly jumped a motorcycle over a massive ramp 13,000 times. And also jumped from an airplane 500 times.
