In Estonia, after a heavy snowfall, the pedestrian sidewalk witnessed a really weird phenomenon. Seven of the delivery robots got literally stuck in the snow. The six-wheeled, tiny robotic courier trucks couldn’t overcome the weight of the snow no matter how they try.
Starship Technologies wanted to replace the delivery agent on a vehicle, with a small shopping basket size robot. In silence, these robots can carry small packages like food and shopping bags. It is designed to operate on short routes sidewalks.

These robots run at a speed of up to 6 km / h which makes them safer than other vehicles. It is also equipped with sensors and cameras to avoid Obstacles and move smoothly through pedestrians. Clearly, it also needs a shovel to not stuck in the snow again. Or maybe a new set of tires could be helpful too.
