The Crystal Method, the electronic music act which Las Vegas founded is doing to drop the first music video NFT. This music video is the one behind the act’s new lead single ‘Watch Me Now‘. It will go up for auction on MakersPlace, where there are only rare and authentic digital artworks.
If you feel that it will be interesting, the NFT video is going to drop on April 26th at 3:30 PM PT. The winner in that auction will also receive advantages which are a limited edition animation and open edition cell from the video.
That NFT video is a unique visual experience. It is a love letter to the group’s native Nevada by using a creative blend of 2D, 3D, black and white, and vivid color animations. The story of the music video starts with a disheveled woman being fall off in the neighboring Californian Mojave desert. She goes on to see her call upon the powers of her ‘Crystal Ship’. After she destroyed Area 51, she rocketed off in pursuit of the tour bus of The Crystal Method.

The act’s co-founder Scott Kirkland has spoken about his excitement for the project. He also made a hint to the artist behind this video. “My first NFT release is a collaboration with the brilliant animated artist Micah Monkey. And we will drop it off on April 26th. Micah has created an epic and exhilarating visual companion for my rousing riff-driven new single” Kirkland said.
