No, it’s not a movie scene or a cinematic trick, it’s the Robosaurus.
In 1989, Doug Malewicki made that T-Rex-like robot and called it Robosaurus. The cool thing about this robot is its abilities which make it like a runner from Marvel or HBO.
This metallic dinosaur is 40 feet (12 meters) tall and has wheels instead of legs. The most amazing feature is that it can breathe fire using two propane tanks, through its large nostrils. In addition to its ability to fold up into a semi-trailer and be used on the road legally.
A 500-hp turbocharged Cummins diesel engine is like the heart of the Robosaurus, which makes the 31-ton robot move.

In 2008, Robosaurus was sold for $632,500 at the Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson auction to its current owner. Since then nobody heard about it until now. Alexandra Mary Hirschi, aka Supercar Blondie, wanted to see what it’s like to be inside the head of the beast.
She used a ladder to climb to the Robosaurus’ head to operate it. She thought it would be easy, but she found a lot of buttons and switches that had to be controlled at the same time. “It’s definitely the most complicated machine that I’ve ever, ever had to learn to operate.” She said.
Therefore, Supercar Blondie decided to leave that task to professionals. But she made some exciting moves, like breathing fire and rising to its full height.
