The non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, Nifty Gateway, announced a new partnership with the electronics giant Samsung. Both of them are working to produce the “first-ever smart TV NFT platform”. The 2022 Samsung premium TV product line is already containe Nifty Gateway.
Without getting into too many details, Samsung revealed in January that the company was getting into NFT technology. The electronics company also said that NFTs would introduce into the company’s TV products.
Recently, Gemini-owned Nifty Gateway announced a partnership with Samsung. The partnership goal is to “develop the first-ever smart TV NFT platform for exploring, purchasing, and trading digital art and collectibles.” Therefore, Nifty Gateway is now integrated into Samsung’s 2022 premium TV product lines. The new line includes the QLED and Neo QLED smart TVs.

“Leveraging Samsung’s and Nifty Gateway’s technology. Customers can seamlessly browse, display, and interact with NFTs from the comfort of their couch. In addition, customers will have access to more than 6,000 art pieces from emerging and top artists including Beeple, Daniel Arsham, Pak, and more.” Nifty Gateway said.
Co-founder of NFT marketplace, Duncan Cock Foster, said during the announcement that bringing NFTs to “a billion people.” is Nifty Gateway’s aim.
Nifty Gateway executive also said that the company is “committed to making NFTs accessible and NFT purchasing m/ore seamless than ever before.”
