Have you ever gotten angry in a restaurant because of an uncooked meal or a hair on a plate? It’s not a big deal in comparison with finding deep-fried toilet paper in your food.
A woman got really angry after she had her KFC meal with an oil-soaked loo roll, which is covered with taste batter. The customer didn’t notice the toilet paper until she got a bite from it. This incident happened in the KFC branch in Anji, northeast China.
After posting footage of the unhappy meal on social media, food fans urged the unsatisfied customer to demand proper action from the managers. However, what can be the proper action?

The uploaded video on the Chinese site Weibo went viral. The main question from the viewers was who cooked it? Some viewers expressed their displeasure by saying “This is simply outrageous!”. Others felt a little bit disgusted by saying “Was the toilet paper used?!”.
So, the unnamed customer made an official complaint to the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. Initial investigations confirmed that it was really toilet paper inside the meal.
In China, the negotiations between the Store management and the woman are on overcompensation.
