It seems like Elon Musk is drawing big plans for Tesla. Tesla and artificial intelligence.
This morning, Tesla CEO announced on Twitter that Tesla is going to take a step further and get involved in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI):
“Tesla AI might play a role in AGI, given that it trains against the outside world, especially with the advent of Optimus.”
The new name that Musk gave to the Tesla Bot project is Optimus. As the billionaire said, we would be able to see a prototype of ‘Optimus’ by the end of 2022.
In the last few years, Musk has been working hard to make Tesla the world’s leading company regarding the real-world applications of artificial intelligence.

As “robots on wheels.” that’s how Musk describes Tesla’s vehicles which are equipped with sensors and computers for self-driving.
Cleverly, The man of 2021 has been able to attract world-class AI talent through the “real-world application,”. So we can say that Tesla has the best AI team on Earth.
Last year, at Tesla’s AI day, we saw Dojo, a supercomputer designed to train its neural nets. In addition to announcing its plans to build a ‘Tesla Bot,’. Which is a humanoid robot created to do different kinds of tasks.
Musk also commented on Twitter that Tesla will make “decentralize” control of Tesla Bots:
“Will do our best. The decentralized control of the robots will be critical.”
He said that responding to someone who mentioned “summoning the demon,”. So decentralizing the control would be better to avoid creating an AGI that would turn against humanity. Just like the famous scenario of Terminator and other movies that contain robots.
