Have you seen Twitter’s NFT update? Did you like it? If not it’s okay, even Elon Musk found it “annoying“.

Tesla CEO shared a screenshot of the announcement that Twitter made on the platform and wrote “This is annoying,” on it. In another Tweet, he said, “Twitter is spending engineering resources on this bs while crypto scammers are throwing a spambot block party in every thread?!”

Everyone knows that Musk is a supporter of Blockchain, cryptocurrency, DAOs, and NFTs. However, when finding trivial or displeasing things, he couldn’t keep his mouth shut. So when he saw Twitter’s NFT inclusion in their profile pictures he just criticized.

You can notice the difference in the outline of the profile picture. The ordinary profile pictures have a circular outline, while the NFTs will be visible with a hexagonal outline. Till now, this feature is only available for Blue subscribers of Twitter.

Why Elon Musk doesn’t like NFTs?

This change comes after Twitter announced that they are capable of transacting in crypto. That means users can send or receive cryptocurrency, Bitcoin to be more specific. Previously, Musk announced that Tesla would accept Bitcoin in payments for its cars. Because of his Environmental concerns, he retracted his decision.

In another Tweet, Tesla CEO said that while the company is spending engineer resources, crypto scammers are playing with the market.

Elon Musk doesn’t believe in the Metaverse idea. However, he believes that we need another planet that we can escape to when our world ends. For him, there is a time that every creature on Earth will die as the sun expands.
