As it’s known, Elon Musk is now the single-largest holder of Twitter shares. And he will join the company’s board which is really interesting. Do you know why? Because it could be an unexpected chance for former President Donald Trump, who has been banned from the platform in the back of the January 6 riot at the US Capitol 2021.
The tech billionaire has always been an advocate of free speech on social media. He also criticized the silencing of some voices by social media sites. So, when some high-profile Republicans heard about being Musk on Twitter’s board they moved quickly to pressure him to reinstate Trump and others.

However, Twitter has said that there are no changes that are going to happen to its ban policy. Emphasizing that Musk’s addition to the board wouldn’t change that by saying, “Our policy decisions are not determined by the board or shareholders, and we have no plans to reverse any policy decisions.”
