Elon Musk and Joe Biden have never liked each other.

Earlier this week, President Biden met with executives from rival car companies, General Motors, and Ford Motor. And for the second time, he disregards Tesla. As a response to that, the EV automaker’s CEO Elon Musk said that President Biden “is treating the American public like fools”.

Biden sent invitations to GM CEO Mary Barra and Ford CEO Jim Farley along with other business leaders to the White House. The aim of the meeting is to discuss Biden administratio،n’s $1.75 trillion Build Back Better legislation.

As a result of the massive spending bill, the tax credit will bump up from $7,500 to $12,500 for union-made electric vehicles. After Tesla and GM hit the 200,000-vehicle limit for the credit, they would eligible for the existing tax credit again.

How Elon Musk and Joe Biden tweets went!

After the meeting, Biden tweeted, “Companies like GM and Ford are building more electric vehicles here at home than ever before,”. That is what drives Musk to say that Biden “is treating the American public like fools”.

It is the first time the billionaire has criticized the president. In September last year, Mr. Musk said that the administration was “maybe a little biased” and “seems to be controlled by unions.”

On Wednesday, Tesla announced its annual profits, which reached $5.5 billion including a fourth-quarter profit of $2.32 billion. This is a new record for the giant automaker company. The previous record was in 2020 when it reached $3.47

Elon Musk and Joe Biden have different points of views about the EV industry. However, many beleive that Musk vision could have been better with Trump.
