Cat Lover Builds an Elevator to Help His Old Cat Climbing the Stairs

Famous YouTuber Liam Thompson uploaded a clip on Friday showing off his helpful creation for his little pal, Frodo, the cat.

Frodo is nearly 20-year-old, who’s enjoyed a daily routine of walking down a set of stairs before sunning himself in the backyard next to the pool. Unfortunately, as he approaches his twentieth birthday, Frodo’s mobility isn’t what it used to be. He struggles to get up and downstairs. Rather than force his elderly cat to suffer by requiring a human’s direct assistance to get to his sunbathing spot. Thompson created a genius plan to help his beloved red-haired feline.

How this elevator works

Liam thought about how could he help his pet to be more comfortable accomplish the simple goal of getting his daily sunbathe. He gets to work building a track and cart which may make this process a little easier.

Mr. Thompson’s project was a two-step process in which he built a track and a car.
He assembled and powered the two parts of his activator using an electric hoist. Befoe making his friend Frodo jump into the invention, Liam tests out his prototype by putting a stuffed animal on the cart, pressing the power button, and watching as it smoothly gets down the stairs.
He then painted his project with a pleasing sky blue before it was Frodo’s turn to be the cat of the moment.
The brave feline climbed onto his specially designed device and as usual, scope out a good sun patch and relaxed in it.
Thompson watched with glee how his project was a resounding success.

To make Thompson happier, Frodo then used the cart to back down the stairs and back inside. Just in four days, the project was completed.
