When you think about starting a new project, a number of ideas may cross your mind. You may make handmade gifts, sell clothes online, or even create a YouTube channel. But this girl got the weirdest, unexpected and smelly idea ever. She made over $50,000 selling her farts.

Stephanie Matto, a 31-year-old reality show star, is Literally selling her farts in a jar. Yup, you read that right, and to make you more amazed, there are people buying that farts.

How could she earn selling her farts?

Stephanie Matto appeared in ’90 Day Fiance’, which is a documentary series that follows couples from different countries discussing their relationship.

“Day in the life of a girl who sells her farts in a jar!”  Is a video title that Stephanie lately shared on TikTok. This video has more than 6 million views on the platform.

In an interview with BuzzFeed, Stephanie said “I think my main motivation was money, but I also thought it’d be a hilarious publicity move that would get a lot of people’s attention. And it has definitely worked.”

In the video, she described the process of getting these jars done. For the breakfast, Stephanie has beans, a protein shake, a protein muffin, hard-boiled eggs,  and yogurt.

If you are wounding if anyone on earth could buy these farts in jars, the answer is yes. Stephanie said that she made over $50,000 since she started. The cost of the jar is $1000. But if you want one Stephanie is selling them half price for a limited time. You also have to be patient because her inbox is “flooded daily” with requests for the product.

People who buy her product are either usually like collecting oddities or fans of Stephanie and the show.

“Over the years, I’ve gotten a few messages from men and women wanting to buy my worn bras, panties, hair, bathwater, etc. I thought farts were super niche, but also something fun, quirky, and different. It’s almost like a novelty item!” She said.
